2014 All-GSC Tournament

2015 (Senior): Played in 29 games with 25 starts at shortstop...hit .286 (18-for-63) with 15 runs scored, one double and four RBIs...had five multi-hit games... longest hit streak was six games and had reached base safely in 11 straight games during the season...posted two-hit outings against Union (3.15), Arkansas-Montiello (3.31), Mississippi College (4.11), Southern Arkansas (4.14)

2014 (Junior): GSC All-Tournament Team... Played in 25 games (14 starts)... collected 15 hits in 51 at bats (.294 batting average)... scored 10 runs... two doubles... 11 RBI... stole two bases... .915 fielding percentage at shortstop

2013 (Sophomore): Played in 21 games with seven starts…had seven hits in 26 at bats (.269 avg.)…Scored five runs...Had five RBIs...had three walks...had one hit by pitch…had a .355 on base percentage...Had one sac fly…Had one sac bunt…had seven total bases for a .269 slugging percentage...had three strikeouts...had 12 putouts...Had 15 assists...Had two errors...bad a .931 fielding percentage.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Helped guide Statesmen to 12th Gulf South Conference championship, 11th NCAA South Region title and 11th NCAA College World Series appearance...DSU finished second overall as national runner-up...played in 51 games, making 39 starts at shortstop, for the Statesmen...batted .333 with three doubles, one triple and 26 RBIs...Collected 37 hits in 111 at-bats while stealing 1-of-3 base attempts...also scored 26 runs on the season...binished the year tied for 12th in GSC in hitting...Produced nine multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games...Had season-high seven game hitting streak...recorded a career-high four RBIs against four opponents, including back-to-back games against No. 9 West Florida.

2011 (Freshman): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

PREP: Played for coach Ben Todd and the Eagles of Evangelical Christian School... Named All-Region Honorable Mention in 2009 and was selected to the All-Region Tournament Team... was a 2010 First Team All-Region selection... hit .306 with 30 hits, 21 runs scored and two homeruns in 2010... only struck out eight times in 98 at bats in 2010.

PERSONAL: Jonathan Charles Andrews... son of Charles and Karen Andrews... has one sister, Victoria and a brother, Michael... born November 20, 1991 in Lynchburg, Virginia... majoring in sports management.
