2019 (JUNIOR): Played in 10 games, starting the final seven games at wide receiver…helped the Statesmen finish 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the GSC…led the Statesmen and ranked 10th in the GSC with 38 receptions for 329 yards (20th GSC) and one touchdown…ranked ninth in the GSC with 3.8 receptions per contest…rushed one time for 10 yards…had a season-best eight passes for 76 yards and a 23-yard touchdown at North Greenville (9.28)…recorded seven catches for 52 yards at eventual national champion West Florida (10.5)...also had five catches versus West Alabama (10.19), at Shorter (11.2) and in the season finale at Mississippi College (11.16)…rushed once for 10 yards versus West Georgia (11.9).

JUCO: Played two seasons for Coach Greg Davis at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, Miss. (2016, 2017)...caught 78 passes for 1,005 yards and six touchdowns over two years for the Tigers...ranked eighth in NJCAA and set a single season Northeast Mississippi record with 60 catches for 780 yards which as a sophomore...had 18 grabs for 225 and four touchdowns in his freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Water Valley High School in Water Valley, Miss., for Coach Brad Embry...lettered in football, basketball and baseball.

PERSONAL: Levert "LJ" Hawkins...born in Water Valley, Miss., to Levert and Patricia Hawkins...has one sister, Tawana Herbert...majoring in sports management.
