2009 (Outlook): Preseason All-Gulf South Conference candidate...Hard hitting safety with a nose for the football…Definitely one of the strongest safeties in NCAA DII.
2008 (Junior): Started all 12 games for the Statesmen…Second on the team with 69 total tackles, with a team leading 52 solos and eight tackles for a loss of 26 yards…Made one-and-a-half sacks...Broke up eight passes with one interception to go along with one fumble recovery…Recorded a season high 10 tackles vs. Ouachita Baptist (9.27)…Season high two tackles for loss vs. Arkansas Tech (11.1).
2007 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games with six starts…Recorded 47 tackles, 27 solo and eight for a loss of 30 yards…Made a half a sack…Intercepted two passes and recovered one fumble…Recorded season-high nine tackles at West Alabama (11.3)...Season-high 1.5 TFL vs. Jackson State (9.1).
2006 (Freshman): Played in all 11 games last season as DSU’s starting safety...Totaled 33 tackles with three tackles-for-loss and two interceptions...Broke up five passes and recovered one fumble...Season-high six tackles twice versus UNA (10.21) and UWG (10.28)...Tallied 14 total tackles in NCAA playoffs including four versus ECSU (11.18) and NCCU (11.25)...Returned an interception versus GVSU (12.10 ) for 37 yards in NCAA semifinals.
SOUTHERN: Attended Southern University, but did not participate.
PREP: Lettered two years for Wayne Reese at McDonogh 35…Garnered All-District and All-Conference honors…Also lettered in track.
