2019 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE): Played in nine games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams…helped the Statesmen to a 6-4 record…finished with 13 tackles, 10 solo tackles, including two tackles for loss…posted a season-high four tackles, two solos, in the season opener against Tusculum (9.5)…registered two solo tackles against West Alabama (10.19), at Shorter (11.2) and Mississippi College (11.16)…had a tackle for loss against Tusculum (9.5)… the Statesmen defense led the GSC in total defense (309.2 ypg.), rush defense (122.0 ypg.) and sacks per game (2.70).

2018 (JUNIOR): Played in eight games for the Statesmen at linebacker...totaled 11 tackles and 2.0 tackles-for-loss with two forced fumbles...season-high three tackles versus West Florida...tallied two tackles with 1.5 tackles-for-loss versus Mississippi College...recovered fumbles versus No. 4 Grand Valley State and No. 3 West Georgia. 

2017 (SOPHOMORE): Played in six games for the Statesmen at linebacker...helped the Statesmen to a 9-4 overall record and a second round appearance in the NCAA Division II Football Championship Playoff...recorded three tackles, one each versus Chowan, Florida Tech and Bowie State.

2016 (FRESHMAN): Played in two games after having his redshirt pulled...tallied three tackles versus West Florida in his collegiate debut...saw game action against North Alabama.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played middle linebacker for coach Coley Candaele...named 1st Team All-CIF...named a First-Team All-League performer...turned in 109 total tackles...averaged 8.4 tackles per game and tallied 11 tackles for loss.

PERSONAL: Full name is Ryan Michael Hudkins...son of Randall and Shannon...has one sister, Madison...majoring in finance.
