Gabe Trottier

Gabriel “Gabe” Trottier enters her second year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Delta State University in 2026-27.

Trottier works closely with multiple Statesmen and Lady Statesmen programs, providing comprehensive care that includes injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. She collaborates directly with team physicians, maintains detailed medical documentation, and assists in the coordination of daily athletic training operations, including practice and game coverage, travel, and student worker supervision.

Prior to arriving at Delta State, Trottier served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Henderson State University, where she worked primarily with football, swim and dive, and baseball, while assisting with several other programs across the department. She also gained valuable experience as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Henderson State, working with all sports while managing treatment schedules, documenting injuries, and assisting with event coverage and operations.

Trottier earned her Master of Science in Sports Administration from Henderson State University in 2024 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Dakota in 2022, where she also minored in psychology. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer and an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Mississippi Athletic Trainers’ Association.

A native of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Trottier brings a strong background in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation, along with a commitment to enhancing the overall student-athlete experience.
