2018 GSC SPRING ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL

2017-18: Ganered All-Gulf South Conference Second-Team honors...Kawell played in all nine tournaments claiming four top 10 finishes and two top 5 finishes...finished third at the Natural State Classic, fifth at the Grove Page Classic and sixth at the Reddie Classic...shot a three-under, 69 to hold the first round lead at this year's GSC tournament before finishing ninth overall with a four-over, 220...finished with a 73.8 scoring average over 26 rounds with 10 rounds of even or under par...season-low rounds of 68 at the Cougar Invitational and the Mississippi College Invitational.

2016-17: Competed in nine tournaments posting two top 15 finishes... finished 15th at the UIS Island Getaway and took 11th at the 2016-17 GSC Men's Golf Championships...finished with a 76.12 scoring average over 24.5 rounds...had a low round of 70 and carded nine rounds of par or better.

JUCO: Spent two season playing for Coach Tommy Snell at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston, Tenn...Earned Ping All-American and Academic All-American honors during his two seasons at MGCCC.
 
PREP:  Played for Coach Brock Schafer at Briarcrest Christian School in Eads, Tenn...also lettered in golf and tennis
