Christian Evans

Christian Evans enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the men's soccer team under the direction of head coach Andy Robertson and will work with DSU's goalkeepers.

Evans joins the #DSUFamily after starting his collegiate soccer for NCAA Division I Presbyterian College before transferring to St. Leo University in the Sunshine State Conference. 

While at Presbyterian, Evans was part of the squad that won the Big South Conference tournament in 2017 as the school garnered its first appearance in the NCAA tournament. After transferring, Evans accolades at St. Leo included SSC Defensive Player of the Week honors as well as being featured on the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

Evans, who hails from Manchester, England, was a captain for the Accrington Stanley U18 team under Coach Paul Lodge and was part of one of the most successful youth teams in club history after gaining the most points and clean sheets in a season. Evans helped the club defeat West Ham and Bristol City en route to the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup
