2017 NCAA South Region All-Tournament Team

CAREER:
Closed his DSU career with a .319 batting average, 25 doubles, three triples, six home runs and 76 RBIs... helped the Statesmen captured two GSC Regular Season titles (2017, 2018), one GSC Tournament Championship (2017), the 2017 NCAA Division II South Region Championship (2017) and advanced to the 2017 NCAA Division II World Series.

2018 (Senior): Helped the Statesmen to a 42-11 overall record and the Gulf South Conference regular season title with a 23-5 mark...started in 52 games in center field, missing one start due to an injury...batted primarily in the lead off spot, hitting .312 with 14 doubles, two triples, three home runs and 48 RBIs. recorded 24 multi-hit and 10 multi-RBI games...had an eight-game hitting streak and a stretch of 16 games where he reached base reaching safely...his eight at bats against Nova Southeastern (2.3) ranked second on the GSC single game list...went 2-for-3 with a grand slam home run and six RBIs against Harding University (3.13)...went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, three runs scored and four RBIs against Shorter (3.23)...drove in three runs on two hits against Ouachita Baptist (4.24).

2017 (Junior): Helped the Statesmen finish 45-13 and 25-8 in the GSC, winning their 14th GSC title and 12th NCAA Regional Championship while making their 12th NCAA Division II College World Series appearance…started all 58 games in center field…hit .325 with 11 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 28 RBIs from the leadoff spot… stole a team-high 11 bases (11 attempts)…ranked first in at bats (255), third in hits (83) and fifth in runs scored (54) in the GSC statistics… led the Statesmen with 28 multi-hit games which included eight three-hit games and one four hit performance…had multiple RBIs in four games, driving in three runs against Mississippi Valley State (3.15)… went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and a double against Henderson State (3.21)…batted .400 with a double and three runs scored in the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament…hit .308 with a double in the NCAA Division II College World Series in Grand Prairie, Texas…made two appearances on the mound, against Mississippi Valley State (3.15) and North Alabama (3.25).

JUCO: Spent two season under Roger Ward at Northeast Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Okla…2016 Gold Glove winner and First-Team NJCAA All-Region II…started in 33 of 34 games played in 2016, hitting .512 with 18 doubles, two triples, three home runs and 27 RBIs…struck out six and drew 17 walks in 146 plate appearances…also stole 13 bases (13 attempts…slugged .752 and had a .572 on base percentage...went 2-1 with 29 strikeouts against 29 walks in 34.1 innings pitched.
