2019-20 (SENIOR): Came in 27th in the 200 freestyle at the NCAA Championships...finished 26th in the 1000 freestyle...did not get to swim the 500 freestyle due to the COVID-19 pandemic canceling the remainder of the meet...won the NSISC crown in the 1000 freestyle...member of 200 freestyle relay team that took 10th...won the 200 freestyle...won the 500 freestyle...member of the 800 freestyle relay team that took second place...finished eighth in the 100 freestyle...part of the 400 freestyle relay team that came in second.

2018-19 (JUNIOR): Came in 31st in the 200 freestyle at the NCAA Championships...finished 17th in the 500 freestyle...placed 20th in the 1650 freestyle...place third in the 200 freestyle at the NSISC Championships...member of the 200 freestyle relay team that came in 10th...took second in the 500 freestyle...member of the 800 freestyle relay team that came in second...placed third in the 1650 freestyle...part of the 400 freestyle relay that came in ninth

2017-18 (SOPHOMORE): Placed fifth in the 1000 freestyle at the NSISC Championships...part of the 200 freestyle relay team that came in 10th...finished fifth in the 200 freestyle...took third in the 500 freestyle...member of the 800 freestyle relay team that came in second...finished third in the 1650 freestyle...part of the 400 freestyle relay team that finished in 10th.

2016-17 (FRESHMAN): Came in second in the 1000 freestyle at the NSISC Championships...part of the 200 freestyle relay team that came in 11th...finished eighth in the 200 freestyle...placed fourth in the 500 freestyle...member of the 800 freestyle relay that came in ninth...took home second in the 1650 freestyle.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at White Oak High School under head coach Clark Wilson...ranked fourth in the state in the 200 and 500 freestyle...also lettered in track...four-time Academic All-State and member of NSHSS.

PERSONAL: Michael Korten Maly...son of David and Dawn Maly...has one brother, Zach, and a sister, Paige...major is chemistry.
