Jemina Linn Sorman enters her first season as a graduate assistant coach on the Delta State University tennis staff. As a senior in 2018 for the Lady Statesmen, Sorman appeared in 16 singles matches and posted a 2-14 overall record and 1-11 GSC record. She competed in all 16 matches in doubles and posted a 1-15 overall record and 0-12 record in the GSC.
Prior to coming to DSU, she lettered two seasons in tennis at Upper Iowa University, where she was named to the NSIC first team in doubles (2017) and NSIC honorable mention singles (2017).
Sorman also lettered one year in tennis at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Fla., under head coach for Wally Norwich.
Sorman earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Delta State in December 2018. She is the daughter of Anna and Atommy Sorman. She has two brothers, Joel and Christopher, and one sister, Rebecca.
