Makenzi Dallas

Makenzi Dallas is in her first season as the an assistant coach the Delta State University softball team.
 
Dallas began her playing career as a catcher for Phoenix College (Ariz.), where she was a part of the NJCAA Div. II national championship team in 2012 (redshirt year), and helped lead PC to 98 wins as national runners up (2013) and regional runners up (2014). During the 2012 and 2013 seasons, PC also set records for batting average, runs scored, home runs and RBI's.
 
The Phoenix, Ariz., native then transferred to the University of Nebraska Kearney, where she was a starting third baseman for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Dallas was an MIAA Academic All-American both years, and earned Honorable Mention All-MIAA honors in 2016, finishing the season .333 with seven doubles, seven home runs, and 38 RBI's.

After spending one season as a graduate assistant coach at UNK, Dallas spent last season as a bullpen coach at Northeastern (Okla.) State, where she helped coach a pair of All-MIAA selections.

In May of 2018, Dallas earned a Master of Science in Education in Student Affairs from UNK and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with a minor in Coaching in 2016.
