Biography
2019 (SENIOR): Helped the Statesmen to a 42-14 overall record and a 20-9 mark in the Gulf South Conference while winning the school's 15th GSC title...played in 56 games with 53 starts in center field...finished the season hitting .240 (47-for-196) with seven doubles, 20 RBI and 35 runs scored...had eight stolen bases in nine attempts...tied for fifth with 11 multi-hit games which included two three-hit games...had four multi-RBI games with one three-RBI outing against West Alabama (4.15)...went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBIs and two stolen bases in his debut against East Central (2.1.19)...scored a season-high three at Christian Brothers (3.17.19)...went 3-for-3 with two runs scored against Embry-Riddle (5.16) in the NCAA South Regional...had an eight-game hitting streak and an 11-game reached base streak...hit .308 (12-for-39) with seven runs scored, two doubles, five RBI and two steals in 11 postseason games...went 3-for-10 (.300) in the NCAA South 2 Regional...hit. 304 (7-for-24) with three runs scored, two doubles one walk and five RBI in the GSC tournament.
NEBRASKA-KEARNEY: Earned ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association) Second-Team All-Central Region and Honorable Mention All-Region by the NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America)...selected Second-Team All-MIAA as an outfielder...appeared in 42 games, batted .356 with 14 doubles, two triples, 11 home runs and 39 RBIs...scored 53 runs and walked 30 times...nine steals...slugging pct. (.649).
JUCO: Spent time at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, Calif as an outfielder and second baseman...as a sophomore, batted .303 over 46 games with 32 runs scored and 13 RBIs...eight stolen bases and seven doubles... had a .986 fielding percentage and played 28 games ... batted .255 with 13 runs scored with 10 RBIs, three doubles and four stolen bases as a freshman.
PREP: Played varsity baseball at Lodi High School for Head Coach Hobbie Schultz…earned All-Conference honors in each of his four seasons…as a senior in 2015, batted .358 with seven doubles, six steals and 10 RBIs.
