Charlie Foster

Charlie Foster begins his second season as a graduate assistant for the Delta State University women's soccer program.

In 2019, Foster helped the program to achieve several records, including the most ever conference wins, which enabled them to reach the conference tournament for the first time in program history. He assisted with the development of goalkeeper, Amanda Hilliard, who broke the school record with seven shutouts.

Before Delta State University, Foster worked at now Major League Soccer Development Academy, St Louis FC as an assistant coach with age groups U15-U19 while working primarily with the U17 team. Throughout his time at STLFC Academy, he worked with many US National Youth Team players. Foster was fortunate to get the opportunity to work with Feyenoord, a professional youth team in Holland. STLFC took two teams across to compete and to work with Feyenoord's coaching staff that helped him learn Feyenoord's methodology and lead sessions of his own.

Over the summer, Foster was the head coach of Rochester United FC in the WPSL – the second division within the US and will be leading the team in his inaugural season in the summer of 2020. Charlie currently has multiple USSF, NSCAA, and FA licenses. Foster has a USSF National 'C' License and will look to complete his National 'B' License in 2020.

Foster earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Jamestown in Health and Fitness Administration, coupled with minors in Coaching and Business. He is currently completing his Masters in Sports and Human Performance.

Foster played four years at the University of Jamestown, captaining the team as a senior. Throughout his collegiate career, Foster also competed in both the PDL and the NPSL.

Foster hails from London England and came to America in 2014.
