Juan Gallegos

Juan Gallegos enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Delta State University women's soccer team.

Gallegos came to Delta State in 2015 where he worked as the graduate assistant coach in charge of goalkeepers for Lady Statesmen soccer.
 
Previously, he served as the assistant women’s soccer coach for Findley University in Findley, Ohio and as the head coach of the girls U-10 Findlay Soccer Club in 2014.
 
Gallegos brings a wealth of playing experience to Delta State, starting 30 games over two seasons for NAIA Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky. Prior to Union, he played for Danville (Ill.) Area Community College (2011), and Kankakee (Ill.) Community College (2010) in Kankakee, Illinois.    
 
Before his collegiate playing days, Gallegos spent the summer of 2011 training with the U-23 D.C. United reserve squad and club soccer for the Blooming Club in Santa Cruz, Bolivia from 2006-2010.
 
The Santa Cruz, Bolivia, native received his Bachelors degree in international business and business administration from Union College in 2014.
