Nathan Gillespie enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Lady Statesmen soccer team.
Gillespie featured in 60 games during a four year career at Cumberland University (Tenn.), where he helped anchor the defense. As a senior, Gillespie helped guide the Phoenix to a victory over No. 2 Lindsey Wilson to earn a berth in the Mid-South Conference championship game.
Recently, Gillespie has recently been a goalkeeper coach for the Biggleswade United senior team, as well as the Biggleswade U15 boys team.
In 2016, Gillespie also gained valuable coaching experience when he participated in first team coaching with Tottenham Hotspur and Cambridge United.Â
Following his playing career, The Cambridge, England native earned coaching expeirence at Sporting CT (Connecticut), where he led the U9, U10 and U14 girls programs in 2014, before leading the U10, U11 and U15 girls teams in 2015.
