Una Einarsdottir enters her first season with the Delta State University women's soccer team as a graduate assistant, under the direction of head coach Mark Hiller.
Einarsdottir joins the #DSUFamily after a stellar career at the University of Lousiana Lafayette. Einarsdottir appeared in 67 games in four seasons with the Ragin' Cajuns. She tallied 11 goals and registered five assists to total 37 points for her career in the midfield.
The Gardur, Iceland native, attempted 96 shots in her career, had four game-winning goals, and was 2-for-2 on penalty kicks while loggin 4,245 minutes on the pitch.
She appeared in 14 games in 2020 for the Ragin' Cajuns after suffering a knee injury, and served as team captain in her junior and senior seasons.
Einarsdottir is the daughter of Einar Jón Pálsson and Hildur Hauksdóttir, and her cousin, Arnór Ingvi Traustason, plays for the Icelandic National Team and has played soccer professionally since 2013.
