Brittany Gonzales of the softball team has been named the GoStatesmen.com Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Over the past week, Gonzales earned three conference wins and allowed just four earned runs. She pitched her 13th complete game of the season against top-ranked Valdosta State, a 1-0 Lady Statesmen win. 

Gonzales allowed just three hits against VSU and struck out three batters.
