Amine Rahmani scored the game-winning goal for Delta State in their 2-1 double overtime victory over Gulf South Conference opponent Union University. Rahmani was chosen to take a penalty kick follwing a Union foul in the box in the second overtime. Rahamani found the bottom right corner of the net in the 103rd minute of play to give Delta State its first win of the season. Rahmani also recorded six of the toal sixteen shots taken by Delta State and was responsible for three of the total six shots on goal recorded by the Statesmen.
