Ricky Winters struck out six in his first start of the season to lead No. 6 Delta State University to a 5-2 victory over the University of West Alabama Sunday in the rubber game of the series at Ferriss Field.  Winters, making his second appearance of the season, went 5.2 innings while surrendering one earned run in an effort that lead the Statesmen to series victory.
