Brent Langston went 7-for-13 over a weekend series at No. 9 Valdosta State, where the Statesmen took 2-of-3 from the Blazers.  Langston collected multiple hits in each game, including connecting for his first homerun of the season in the series finale.  Langston spearheaded an offensive attack that outscored the home team 27-10 over 24 innings of action - including an 8-inning victory by run rule in Game Three.

Langston would later be named GSC Player of the Week.
