Erin Tucker, a junior forward on the Lady Statesmen Soccer team, has been named the GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance in DSU's 2-1 loss at Belhaven on Saturday, Sept. 6 in the season opener.

Trailing 1-0 to the Lady Blazers, Tucker struck home the equalizer in the 74th minute off an assist from Kayla Kazanowski. The goal was the first for Tucker this season.
