Will Robertson, a senior outfielder on the Delta State University Baseball team, grabs his second CableONE GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week honors after leading the No. 14 Statesmen (23-10, 16-5 GSC) to a three-game sweep of Christian Brothers University this past weekend at Harvey Stadium.
The Falkner, Miss., native hit .642 (9-for-14) for the week with three doubles, two home runs and 13 RBIs. In Saturday's 26-0 win over CBU, Robertson was 2-for-2 with a pair of home runs and eight RBIs.
The senior left fielder leads the Statesmen in hitting (.429), hits (54), doubles (17), and RBIs (41). He paces the Gulf South Conference in hits and RBIs.Â
