Emily Oldacre, a senior goalkeeper on the Lady Statesmen soccer team, is this week’s Cable One GoStatesmen.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week after recording her second career shutout on Sept. 7 at Louisiana College.

A native of Walsall, England, Oldacre recorded two saves to preserve the Lady Statesmen’s 7-0 victory over the Lady Wildcats.

Oldacre and the Lady Statesmen return to action Tuesday, Sept. 13 for the 2016 home opener against Alcorn State.
