Alondrea Rush, a sophomore point guard for the Lady Statesmen, has earned CableOne GoStatesmen.com Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season. 

The Horn Lake, Miss., native poured in a career-high 18 points in helping lead the Lady Statesmen to a win over Alabama Huntsville 64-53 on Jan. 14 at Walter Sillers Coliseum. 

Rush is averaging 11.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.1 steals while averaging 34.7 minutes this season for Delta State. 

The Lady Statesmen now hit the road to close out the first round of GSC play with contests at Valdosta State on Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. CT and at West Florida on Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. CT.
