Delta State University

Madison Zoeller, a senior catcher for the Delta State softball team, has been named CableOne Gostatesmen.com Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Zoeller was the only Lady Statesmen to record a hit in all three games against the University of Alabama in Huntsville on March 18-19. Zoeller finished the weekend 5-for-9. 
 
In the Lady Statesmen’s 6-5 win over West Georgia on March 13, Zoeller was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and scored two runs.
 
She is tied for the team lead in multi-RBI games and is currently riding a four-game hitting streak.  
 
DSU will travel to the University of Arkansas at Monticello for a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 21 at 1 and 3 p.m. The Lady Statesmen will host defending national champion, the University of North Alabama, for a three-game series at University Field beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 25 at 2 p.m. and concluding with a single game on Sunday, March 26, at 1 p.m.
