Breck Ruddick, a junior on the Statesmen football team, has been named the CableOne GoStatesmen.com Male Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Statesmen to a 54-20 win over Shorter.

Ruddick was 19-of-27 for a career-high 272 yards, while adding a career-best three touchdown passes.

The West Memphis, Ark., native also ran for 46 yards on eight carries.
