Running back Chris Robinson has been named this week’s CableOne GoStatesmen.com Male Athlete of the Week. 

In Delta State’s thrilling 33-30 overtime victory Saturday against North Greenville, Robinson rushed for a game-high 184 yards on 34 carries.  The senior added a crucial touchdown early in the fourth quarter, which capped an 80-yard drive and cut the Crusaders’ lead to 24-21. 

With a 7-3 record on the season, the Statesmen remain No. 7 in the Super Region II rankings.
