This week’s CableOne GoStatesmen.com Female Athlete of the Week is Takisha Jordan of the Lady Statesmen basketball team. 

In Sunday's 60-44 victory over Miles, Jordan helped lead the Lady Statesmen with 14 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks.

In her last three contests, the Decatur, Ala., native is averaging 14.3 points per contest.

Jordan and the Lady Statesmen are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 13 for a non-conference contest at Southern Arkansas. Tipoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.
