Sarah Mumme ran the second fastest 5K time in Delta State University history with an 18:47 on Saturday, Oct. 13 to power the Lady Statesmen to a 14th place finish at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Lady Trojans 5K.  The senior from Holcomb, finished 16^th individually with a career-best time of 18:47.2, tied for second fastest in program history, on the challenging 5K course. She cut 37.3 seconds off her previous season-best performance (19:24.5) at the Jacksonville State University Foothills 5K. Mumme's performance today tied Kristin Williams' 18:47 set on Oct. 7, 2006 at the Brooks Twilight Invitational.
