Cross country runner Bailey Pounds was named one of GoStatesmen.com's Featured Athletes of the Week, presented by Guaranty Bank, as she helped the Lady Statesmen to a 10th place finish at the Gulf South Conference Championships.

Pounds, who has already twice been named a Featured Athlete of the Week, finished 63rd overall for the Lady Statesmen with a time of 21:13.27. Pounds was the top Delta State finisher in all four races this season for the Green and White.
