CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State University men's and women's basketball teams have changed the tipoff time for their double header with Shorter University due to possible inclement weather.

The double header will take place on Monday, Jan. 6 at Walter Sillers Coliseum in Cleveland, Miss. The Lady Statesmen will now tipoff at 2:00 p.m., while the Statesmen tipoff at 4:00 p.m.

The Lady Statesmen improved to 9-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference play after a 57-46 win over West Georgia. The Lady Hawks of Shorter enter the matchup 4-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play. The Statesmen are coming off a big 76-59 win over West Georgia to improve to 10-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference play. Shorter men are 4-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
