CLEVELAND, Mississippi – Delta Field was host to a Gulf South Conference matchup between the Lady Statesmen soccer team of Delta State and the Argos of West Florida. The Argos shutout DSU, 2-0.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net until the 31

Just 25 minutes into the second half, the Argos scored the go-ahead goal on another free kick outside the 18-yard box. West Florida's Shanice Monteith found the top left corner of the net to give her team the 2-0 lead. The Argos went on to win by that margin.
