CLEVELAND, Miss. – Laura Thacker scored two first half goals to lead Lee University (8-3-2, 7-1-0 GSC) to a 5-0 win over the Delta State University women's soccer team (3-9-1, 0-8-1) on Friday at Delta Field.

@ladystatesmenso HOW IT HAPPENED- Laura Thacker headed in a corner kick from McKenzie Bricker in the 14th minute to give the Flames a 1-0 lead.
- Two minutes later the two hooked up again when Thacker headed in a free kick from Bricker off the right side for a 2-0 lead in the 19th minute
- Bricker notched the Flames third goal when her corner kick from the left side found the net in the 47th minute to extend the lead to 3-0.
- Summer Lanter added Lee's fourth goal off a pass from Katie Cloud with less than 10 minutes remaining.
- Lauren Peters finished out the scoring off a long pass from Sarah Standley in the 88th minute.
- Lee outshot DSU 20-1, and held a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal.
- Emily Oldcare made four saves in her first career start for the Lady Statesmen.
