HOW IT HAPPENED- Camila Segura Sevilla finished off a pass from Tais Cotta in the third minute to give the Lady Statesmen a 1-0 lead.
- Kailey Bryan added to the Lady Statesmen lead, scoring off a ball played in from just inside midfield by Hillary Wall.
- The Lady Statesmen outshot Louisiana College in the first half 10-1 that included eight shots on goal.
- Cotta, Catherine Thomson and Lakyn Cryder scored second half goals for the Lady Statesmen.
- Shelby Nell, Bryan and Cryder also had assists in the second half.
- The Lady Statesmen outshot the Lady Wildcats 22-3 and 16-3 in shots on goal.
STAT OF THE GAME- Season-high five goals by the Lady Statesmen were the most goals since a 6-1 over Talladega College on Oct. 4, 2014.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE- The Lady Statesmen ended a four-game losing streak dating to a scoreless draw against LSU-Alexandria on Sept. 13.
