CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Delta State women's soccer team wrapped up its final GSC road trip of the season with a 2-0 loss to Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., on Oct. 23.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Delta State held Lee scoreless throughout the first half.
- The Lady Flames had the edge on shots (eight) and corners (five), but both teams ended the first half equal in shots on goal.
- In the 65th minute, the Lady Flames surged ahead when McKenzie Bricker scored her fourth goal of the season to break the scoreless drought and give Lee a 1-0 lead.
- With 22 seconds left in the game, Lauren Peters scored Lee's second and final goal of the match off an assist by Mia Hollingsworth to seal the win.
- Bricker, Peters, and Summer Lanter led Lee's offence. Bricker and Peters scored both of Lee's goals, while all three players recorded a combined nine shots and three shots on goal.
- Catherine Thomson, Sam Naughton, Lakyn Cryder, Maggie Amos, and Katie Swaine each had a shot on goal for led Delta State.
- Emily Oldacre faced 19 shots and five shots on goal from the Lady Flames. She conceded two goals, but made two saves.
