SEARCY, Ark. – Harding University scored the only goal of the match in the second half and held on for 1-0 victory over the Delta State University men's soccer team Thursday night at Stevens Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Harding outshot the Statesmen 5-3 in the first half and 7-5 in the second half.
- The Bison scored the only goal in the match in the 65th minute when Jason Diaz gave a through ball to Matheus Ribeiro who struck it on his left foot from 15 yards out.
STAT OF THE GAME:
- The Statesmen forced three saves from Bison keeper Michael Wasson.
BEYOND THE NUMBERS:
- This marks the 12th meeting between DSU and Harding since the series started in 2004.
- Luis Rodriguez received his first start of the season between the posts making three saves.
