HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nikesha Mitchell opened the scoring in the 20th minute, when her shot from near the top of the box found the back of the net.
- Less than six minutes later, Lauren Magdefrau scored her third goal of the season after Bailey Tadlock's pass found her open for a shot across the left of DSU goalkeeper Ana Branch.
- Ashton White gave CBU its third goal of the half in the 44th minute on a shot from 12 yards out.
- The Lady Statesmen had their best chances of the game in the eighth minute, when a pair of strikes were saved by Riley Chafin and two more were blocked.
- CBU outshot the Lady Statesmen 12-9 in the first half.
- The Lady Bucs scored the final goal of the game in the 83rd minute on a penalty kick by Caitlin Barnes.
- Jasmine McGill led DSU with three shots.
- Branch had seven saves, while Chafin had five.
