Benford went for a career-high 11 points against Bethel in his last game.

DSU won 71-70 at Walter Sillers Coliseum on Nov. 25, 1994, and then won again at Sillers 80-53 on Jan. 18, 1997.
ABOUT WEST GEORGIA:
- STATESMEN, WOLVES SPLIT LAST YEAR: Delta State won the first meeting last season between the two schools, 73-60, at Walter Sillers Coliseum, to snap a five-game losing skid to UWG dating back to Feb.6, 2014. West Georgia got revenge in Carrollton, however, as they knocked off DSU 88-79 on Feb. 25. The two schools will meet for the 47th time on Monday evening, with Delta State owning the 26-20 series edge.
- FOUR-GAME SKID: After starting the season 3-0, the Wolves have lost their last four games, dropping a 91-86 contest against Morehouse College that started the slide. After scoring 86 points or more in their first four games, the offense has struggled as of late, putting up 68 points in a loss against Johnson C. Smith, 66 points in a loss at Shorter and just 52 points in a loss at Lee University.
