- The Flames kept the pressure on the Statesmen, but Harvey Stevens made a pair of nice saves just over 10 minutes into the game to keep the Flames off the board.
- Lee was able to notch a goal in the 39th minute, as Jose Orellana drove one up and away from Stevens in goal to give the home team a 1-0 lead at the break.
- Lee took 10 shots in the first half, with four of them coming on goal.
- The Flames continued to get chances in the second half and punched in their second goal of the game off the foot of Jared McWhorter in the 73rd minute to give the Flames a 2-0 lead.
- Jordan Whitchurch was sent off on a red card in the 72nd minute, and 40 seconds later the Flames and McWhorter capitalized to make it a two-goal game.
- Lee added a third goal from Samir Williams in the 80th minute off of an assist from Tanner Carter.
- Statesmen goalkeeper Harvey Stevens suffered the loss in goal while making five save. His record is 2-2-1 on the season.
- Lee goalkeeper Tristen Putnam logged a pair of saves and got the win in goal to improve to 2-1-2 on the year.
