MOBILE, Ala. - Tom Bar-Yosef scored his first goal in a Statesmen uniform, but it wasn't enough for the visitors as Spring Hill College knocked off the Delta State University men's soccer team 6-1 in Gulf South Conference action on Friday evening at Library Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Spring Hill put the Statesmen in an early hole, getting a score from Alexander Lipinski on a rebound from five yards out to give the Badgers the early lead in the 2nd minute.
- Lipinski tallied his second goal of the game, off an assist by Ibrahima Ndaw, in the 24th minute to make it 2-0 Badgers.
- In the 28th minute, a goal from Ibrahima Ndaw gave Spring Hill a 3-0 lead that they would take to the break.
- Alaye Brito made it 4-0 in the 63rd minute for the home team, as he slipped through a couple of Statesmen defenders and found the back of the net.
- Michael Ness made it 5-0 Spring Hill in the 71st, nailing a shot from 35 yards out.
- Tom-Bar Yosef tallied his first career goal for Delta State in the 76th minute, scoring on a set piece from roughly 20 yards out.
- The Badgers scored their final goal in the 85th minute on a header by Pablo Delgado off an assist from Viktor Kvarnlof to make it 6-1.
BEYOND THE NUMBERS:
- Delta State has been held scoreless in the first half in their last five games.
