Livingston, Ala. -- The Delta State University softball team picked up a 7-4 come-from-behind victory to earn a doubleheader split with West Alabama, in Gulf South Conference action, on Thursday at the West Alabama Softball Field. UWA earned a 8-0 (6) victory in the opener.

Kelly Byrd led the Lady Statesmen, going two-for-three at the plate with a two run home run and a triple. Jones and Vice both two hits apiece.
