CLEVELAND, Miss.- Coming off a record setting weekend, Odinn Johannsson was named GSC Freshman of the Week. Johannsson scored seven goals over two games including all three goals in the win over Talladega College.

Last Friday, Johannsson scored four goals against Oakwood and set the Delta State record for most goals in a single game. He also added two assists in the 16-1 win over Oakwood. Against Talladega College, he scored all three goals for the Statesmen including the game winner just 30 seconds into overtime.

Johannsson is the first DSU player to be named freshman of the week since Zachary Breaux was on Septmber 6, 2016.
