CLEVELAND, Miss.- The Delta State University women's soccer team gave up two goals in thirty seconds in the second half to fall to the University of Montevallo 2-0 on Friday afternoon. It is the third straight loss for the Lady Statesmen who are still in eighth place in the Gulf South Conference standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first shot of the game did not come until the ninth minute when Hannah James attempted one for DSU.
- In the first half there were a combined nine fouls and only three shots.
- In the 49th minute, Espy Sanchez scored a goal for Montevallo to give them the lead.
- 50 seconds later, Kira Bochard scored the second goal for Montevallo for their two goals of the game.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- DSU outshot UM 9-8 but Montevallo had the advantage on shots on goal at 5-2.
- Both teams had over six fouls in the game
- The Falcons had two yellow cards issued while DSU had one yellow card given to Tasha Toms.
