PENSACOLA, Fla. – Toni Brewer and Belle Bistrow combined for 54 points to lead the University of West Florida to a 77-52 win over the Delta State University women's basketball team on Thurs., Feb. 14 at the UWF Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alondrea Rush jumper cut the UWF lead to 5-4 with 6:19 left in the first quarter.
- The Agros later stretched an 8-4 lead into a 14-7 advantage after a Bistrow 3-pointer at the 5:47 mark.
- Halee Nieman's 3-pointer capped a 10-2 UWF run to push the lead to 24-14 with 2:34 left in the opening quarter.
- A Quantesha Patterson layup with 15 seconds left cut the UWF lead to 27-18 going into the second quarter.
- The lead grew to as large as 15 in the second quarter but Nia Johnson scored the final six points of the second quarter to trim the deficit to 46-35 at the half.
- A Haywood jumper just over one minute into the third quarter cut the deficit to 48-37.
- Johnson kept the Lady Statesmen within 12 points at 51-39 on a basket with 7:43 left in the third.
- UWF would close the quarter on an 18-3 run to take a commanding 69-42 lead into the final stanza.
- Kirstin Brown scored five points and Aliyah Herod had four to help the Lady Statesmen outscore UWF 13-8 in the fourth quarter.
