CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State University women's tennis team beat the Lady Bucs of Christian Brothers 7-0 on Friday, March 1 at the Cleveland Country Club. The Lady Statesmen moved to 2-3 on the season and 1-0 in Gulf South Conference play.

Beth Owen and
Nathalia Stelzer claimed their first DSU win at No. 2 doubles with a 6-2 victory over Nellina Wooten and Eliza Wood.
Stelzer also claimed the victory at No. 6 singles, defeating Tia Pearson in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.
Delta State returns to action on Saturday, March. 2, as the Lady Statesmen travel to Hattiesburg, Miss. to face off against William Carey University. Match time is set for 2:30 p.m.
