LIVINGSTON, AL. - The Delta State University women's tennis team fell 2-5 to Auburn Montgomery on Wednesday, April. 17 in Livingston, Ala. The Lady Statesmen move to 5-15 and 2-7 on the season.

Fabiola Cardenas and Nathalia Sato claimed DSU's doubles win at No.1 doubles with a 6-4 victory over Sofia Navarro and Svenja Petri. Sophie St Amant and Katheryne Valencia claimed DSU's No.3 doubles with a 6-4 win over Alba De La Torre and Sofia Mustre.

Sato opened singles play with a 2-6,6-4,6-4 victory at No.1 over Foessmeier.

The Lady Statesmen return to action on Saturday, April 16, as Delta State travels to Montevallo, AL. As they take on the University of Montevallo in their last Gulf South Conference action of the regular season. Match time is set for 10 a.m.
