ARKADELPHIA, Ark.– The Delta State University men's soccer team won their first game of the season defeating Ouachita Baptist in double overtime on Friday afternnon.
Odinn Johannsson scored the game winning goal on a header on a corner kick in the 108
th minute.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Delta State started quickly with a shot in the first minute with a shot by Johannsson that went high
- The Statesmen continued with the pressure after another shot by Bo Bowman went high in the 18th minute.
- Zachary Breaux and Felipe Rosado added shots but both went high.
- In the second half, Johannsson had a shot go off the cross bar and kept the game scoreless.
- In the first overtime, Bruno Osorio and Tom Bar-Yosef both had shots but could not find the back of the net.
- In the 108th minute, Johannsson broke the deadlock and scored his first goal of his career.

- Delta State outshot OBU 19-6 and 4-0 with shots on goal.
