CLEVELAND, Miss.- The Delta State University Women's soccer team tied Harding University 1-1 on Saturday afternoon. It was the third tie in the first four games for DSU.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Statesmen came out quickly with three shots in the first 10 minutes.
- They finally got a breakthrough in the 18th minute on a goal from Diana Okechukwu.
- Harding answered right back with a breakaway goal by Samantha Rupe in the 23rd minute.
- Neither team was able to score the rest of the game.
- DSU had two opportunities in the 89th minute but both shots were saved by Harding.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Green and White outshot the Bison 17-12 in the game, including 10-9 on target.
- Amanda Hilliard had eight saves in the game.
- The Bison had one yellow card.
- DSU could not take advantage of seven corner kicks in the tie.
