CLEVELAND, Miss.- The Delta State University women's soccer team dropped their first game of Gulf South Conference play on Sunday 2-0 to the University of West Alabama. This ends the home stand for the Lady Statesmen as they played their first six matches at Delta Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• West Alabama came out of the gates taking shots in the first several minutes.
• Temia Pride scored the first goal for UWA in the 19^th minute.
• Alexis Hobbs registered the first shot for DSU in the 24^th minute.
• Lauren George added a second goal for UWA in the 82^nd minute.
