MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Delta State University women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Christian Brothers University on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Statesmen tie keeps them in third place in the Gulf South Conference standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first shot didn't occur until eight minutes into the game, when CBU's Amanda Dutra's shot was saved by Bailey Daughtery.
- Mia Ramirez had the first shot for DSU but it was saved.
- Nicola Hauk had a couple of shots in the first half but both were turned away.
- Mary Ann O'Kennedy earned a yellow card for DSU in the second half. Sofia Rivera for CBU also picked up a yellow card for CBU as well.
- In the first overtime, both teams had shots, but neither were on target.
- Lavinia Horning had a shot late in the second overtime, but CBU made a save.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- DSU had 11 shots to CBU's 12. Delta State had three shots on target while the Bucs had two.
- The Lady Statesmen had five corner kicks in the contest.
- Daughtery earned her second straight shutout.
- DSU and CBU have played to three straight ties in the all-time series. In 2019 in Cleveland, DSU and CBU played to a 0-0 draw. In 2020, CBU and DSU tied the game at 1-1. The two teams have combined for two goals in 330 minutes in the last three games.
